...With a Blog

Just in Case...

On the slight possibility someone comes across this blog and is wondering wtf? I made this blog for my Communications 1 class and we have to post five blogs. I have always wanted to start a blog its just I'm in my senior year of high school and doing full time dual enrollment at BCC. So, I will probably keep this once I'm done with the class and maybe use it for personal blogging. I also made (in the process of making) a website for my Humanities class, feel free to visit it!

A Narrative Walk Through Freedom

As I was walking through an art museum, admiring all the fine pieces of artwork, I came across a large framed photograph that made me stop dead in my tracks. The photograph was of a solider dressed clean in his uniform and holding an American flag.

The portrait was black and white except for the red, white, and blue of flag making it stand out and capture your attention. My focus was not on the bright and beautiful symbol of our United States but on the solider.

His face was bore the wounds of a thousand battles, but still he smiled. The photograph symbolized all the amazing sacrifices our armed men and women go through to protect our freedoms. Then I realized without them we as a country would not know what true sacrifice is. I think of that photograph every day and I am able to be thankful for everything in my life.
